Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at the Cincinnati Children’s Outpatient Norwood location offers brief, targeted and intensive evidence-based interventions aimed at quickly reducing symptoms through two to three 45 minute sessions per week. This program is appropriate for treating moderate to severe symptoms.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The Partial Hospitalization Program allows patients to receive intensive mental health care services and return to home in the evening, avoiding an inpatient stay.
The Bridge Clinic seeks to bypass the emergency department for acute and subacute psychiatric evaluations, improve rapid access to crisis specialists, improve communication and consultation with primary care providers and connect families to appropriate level of care.
Patients meet with social workers (LISW), clinical counselors (LPCC), or Psychologists to identify problems and triggers leading to current crisis, develop a crisis management plan, coordinate with mental health providers, and provide support until a first outpatient visit occurs with an on-going mental health provider.
Appointment scheduling for the Partial Hospital Program and Bridge Clinic is available by calling the Psychiatric Intake Response Center (PIRC) at 513-636-4124.
