Data Management and Analysis Center
The Data Management and Analysis Center (DMAC) at Cincinnati Children’s is the largest centralized resource for study design, data management, and statistical analysis solely housed within the organization.
We work closely with the Division of Biomedical Informatics (BMI), the Office for Clinical and Translational Research (OCTR), the Office of Research Compliance and Regulatory Affairs (ORCRA) and the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) to deliver the best data management and analytic services to the faculty and staff of Cincinnati Children’s.
DMAC is currently comprised of 40+ data specialists, data coordinators, project managers, SAS and database programmers, epidemiologists, and biostatisticians. Staff in DMAC bring extensive work experience from a variety of educational institutions, contract research organizations, government institutions, and industry. Members hold B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in addition to specialized certifications in data management, programming and statistics.
DMAC leverages the expertise of our Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology (DBE) faculty to expand its ability to support the research enterprise of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. DMAC has standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and work instructions in place, in order to ensure reliability, reproducibility, and maintain a high-level of deliverables to clients.
