The University of Cincinnati is conducting a research study to better understand what influences sleep in young children.
Children 20 to 48 months old who have not been diagnosed with any cognitive or physical disabilities, medical or behavioral conditions that could affect their sleep may be eligible to participate.
The research will take place at your home. Each activity is optional. Here are some of the things that will happen in this study.
You, as the parent or guardian, will:
There are no direct benefits to you or your child from taking part in this study. The results, however, from this study may help us to better understand what might influence sleep in young children.
Some questions might make you feel uncomfortable, but you can decide not to answer all of the questions. Also, some children might be sensitive to wearing the sleep watches. If that is the case, you can remove the watch and notify the research team. We will discuss any of your concerns prior to the start of the study.
Families will receive up to $200 in gift cards, 9 story books, and 1 small toy for the completion of the study.
