The Diabetes Center is dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive care for your child. By incorporating patient care, education and research in one center, we work to effectively advance medical treatment and diabetes prevention worldwide.
Our goal is to help your child with diabetes feel healthy. We would like children to see themselves as people first, and as people with diabetes second. Our efforts promote health and safety while encouraging normal life as much as possible. As children grow and develop, their healthcare needs change, and their diabetes care must be adapted to these changes.
The key to effective diabetes care is a partnership among your child, your family and our team. No one knows your child’s family life, needs and health better than your family. Our team has expert knowledge of pediatric diabetes care and treatment. Through regularly scheduled assessments and education sessions, along with periodic “what’s new” updates, we partner to continually learn, understand and participate in your child’s diabetes care and treatment decisions. By working together as partners, we can better promote your child’s physical and emotional health and safety.
