Easy, Convenient Access
Access to comprehensive, expert care at home can often enable a medically stable child to leave the hospital early. The home care provided supports family-centered care and continuity of pediatric care for the child and the family. Such care can also lower the risk of complications and readmission.
Home Care Services from Cincinnati Children’s are available to families in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio seven days a week. (Services provided vary based upon specific state regulations.)
Customized Care
Our registered nurses perform assessments and work closely with your child’s physician to create a customized home care plan.
Our team of nurses, therapists, social workers, pharmacists and other healthcare providers are all careful observers of your child’s progress in your home and through conversation with you − in effect, the doctor’s “eyes and ears.” Our team members consult regularly among themselves and with your child’s physician to ensure the best outcome.
