Brittany Allen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

I am a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric primary care and school-based health care. At Cincinnati Children’s New Richmond School Based Health Center, my team and I are dedicated to providing comprehensive pediatric care to children within the New Richmond schools and surrounding communities. I believe in meeting patients and families where they are, and I strive to approach every interaction with a listening heart. Actively listening to patients and their families has helped me connect with them, leading to accurate diagnoses and positive outcomes.

From a young age, I knew I wanted a career that allowed me to care for and help others. This passion led me to the University of Cincinnati, where I earned my undergraduate nursing degree. After several years as a registered nurse, my commitment to patient care, education, and public health inspired me to further my education at Xavier University, where I received my Master of Science in Nursing. As a nurse practitioner, I have worked in public health and primary care settings, and I’ve found great joy in caring for pediatric patients and their families.

Throughout my career, I have also been involved in several quality improvement projects focused on improving outcomes for patients struggling with diabetes and hypertension.

Outside of work, I love to travel, read, hike and spend time with my family.
