Hazem Al-Hnawi, MD

I have been interested in pediatrics since I was in medical school. I began to think about being an inpatient provider when my daughter had a serious condition and was admitted to Cincinnati Children’s. That positive experience made me look forward to being part of the Cincinnati Children’s family.

As a hospital doctor, I care for pediatric patients like they are my own children and their parents as if they were medical students who need care and clear information. I also provide care for children and adults in an outpatient urgent care clinic.

I am honored by the respect I receive at work from nurses, residents, staff and parents.

In my free time, I like to play and wrestle with my kids. I love mountains, and I am interested in computer programming and coaching basketball.
