About

Biography

As a clinical fellow in pediatric emergency medicine, I have the privilege of caring for children and families during some of their most challenging moments. The Emergency Department is a place where no two days are ever the same. I love the variety—one moment I might be helping a family navigate a complex medical emergency, the next I’m stitching up a cut or diagnosing an ear infection. This diversity keeps me energized and reminds me every day why I chose this field. Being part of the emergency care team for the Cincinnati community is truly an honor, and I’m grateful to work alongside such a dedicated and compassionate group of professionals.

I completed my medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, where I was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor societies. My general pediatrics residency took me to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where I also received advanced training in point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and was recognized with the senior resident excellence in quality and safety award. My clinical and research interests focus on improving healthcare systems for patients, families, and providers, and I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ youth and families as they navigate their healthcare journeys.

Outside of work, I love making and eating food from all over the world, traveling to new places both near and far, and enjoying music and theater—I've been a musician for most of my life and still find joy in attending Broadway shows and musical performances. Although I spent several years in the Northeast, I was born and raised in Minnesota and am excited to be back in the Midwest for my training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
