When your child needs medical care right away, your family can trust the outstanding speed and quality of Emergency Services at Cincinnati Children’s, one of the busiest pediatric emergency departments in the United States.
We offer 24-hour emergency care at our Burnet Campus, including the region’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center.
Our Liberty Campus also offers 24-hour services and is equipped to handle most pediatric emergencies.
Your family also can seek urgent care services during extended hours at our Anderson Township, Green Township and Mason outpatient centers. We also have urgent care at our Liberty and Burnet Campuses.
- To provide high-quality, safe, efficient and cost-effective services to all children requiring emergency care.
- To provide pediatric emergency education for patients, families and healthcare providers following the principals fostered by Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMS-C).
- To develop knowledge through research in pediatric emergency medicine.
- To establish strong ties to our community by serving as advocates for children’s health.
Few other pediatric emergency departments have as much experience. We have about 67,000 patient visits a year at our Burnet Campus, 36,000 patient visits at our Liberty Campus, and 61,000 patient visits at our urgent care sites.
