About

Biography

I work in the emergency department, caring for children with common illnesses and injuries and for those who are critically ill. My care philosophy revolves around open communication. Being in the emergency department is a challenging environment for every family. My goal is for patients and families to have a complete understanding of their condition or diagnosis.

From my early days as a lifeguard and swim instructor, I have always loved working with and teaching children. This experience made my choice to specialize in pediatrics an easy one.

My research involves a better understanding of pre-hospital care. I’m looking at ways to improve pre-hospital care and communication with hospital providers to optimize patient care.

In my free time, I love being outdoors — swimming, SCUBA diving, skiing and hiking.

Medical School: Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA.

Residency: Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Denver, CO.
