About

Biography

I am a clinical fellow specializing in hospital medicine, caring for all children who are admitted to our general hospital medicine services. I have a passion for providing holistic, compassionate, and equitable care for every child during hospitalization with an overarching goal of ensuring every child can thrive within their community. As such, this requires a focus on our most vulnerable populations. This has sparked an interest in community partnerships and engagement with the hope of connecting families to local community resources during hospitalization and continued connection after discharge. Through this work, I am hopeful to amplify the voices of the community that we serve and create avenues for trainees to interact with our local communities outside of the hospital setting.

Throughout residency, I, along with my co-residents, built a referral system to connect hospitalized families to a local community organization that mitigates asthma triggers within the home. I was honored to receive the Intern of the Year award and the Graduate Tar HEAL award. I also served as a chief resident which has inspired a career goal of graduate medical education.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the city through restaurants, ice cream, and coffee shops. I also love to read and watch all the new, exciting TV show series on streaming platforms.
