About

Biography

My clinical specialty is infectious diseases. I became interested in this area of practice through my interactions with patients prior to my medical training. My research interests are vaccinology, respiratory viruses and virology. I am working to determine how to improve existing vaccines and their clinical trials and develop new vaccines. I also want to demonstrate how personalized vaccinology can be implemented.

I am honored to have received the Wallace O. Fenn Award for the best dissertation for graduating PhD students at the University of Rochester. I was also selected for the Pediatrician Scientist Development Program, which helps launch physician-scientists. As one of six applicants nationwide, this K12 grant funds two years of exclusive research time during my fellowship. I joined the team at Cincinnati Children’s in 2020.
