As a fellow in the Division of Neonatology, I care for premature and sick newborns requiring specialty care. I was drawn to this career because I wanted to change the outcomes of my patients early on.
I strive to provide high quality, compassionate care for every baby I see. I’m transparent in my communication so that I can assure full comprehension by the family and respect their choices. We always want the best possible outcomes for every one of our patients.
In my research, we are studying neonatal lung injury and bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) development, along with nutritional support and breastfeeding promotion.
I like to spend my free time with my family — traveling, fishing, hiking, skiing and having fun.
