I am a pediatrician specializing in the care of children of all ages. My interest in science and medicine began from a young age when I became friends with Jenna, a young girl with Down syndrome. I developed a passion for pediatrics and children with special healthcare needs.

After obtaining my medical doctorate and my PhD, I spent the first five and a half years of my career as a full-time primary care pediatrician. More recently, I have chosen to focus on newborn care and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) follow-up care as part of the perinatal group at Cincinnati Children's. This new and exciting role allows me to focus on the first moments and years of a child's life and the successful transition of families from the hospital to the home environment.

I have a passion for education and strive to help families feel empowered and confident in the care provided to their children and in the decisions they must make for their children. As a mom of two boys, one of whom is a former NICU graduate with special healthcare needs, I am uniquely positioned to provide families with the compassionate care they deserve in these most critical and challenging years of their lives.

It was my honor to be recognized by Dayton Magazine (March 2022) as one of "Dayton Best Docs 2022" for Pediatrics and to have received the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (2018).

When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my husband and two sons. We enjoy riding bikes, playing outside, hiking, gardening and playing board games.
