I enjoy getting to know the families and patients in my care. As a neurosurgery nurse practitioner, I see a diversity of challenging cases and conditions. I find it rewarding to truly see how we can make a difference in these children’s lives.
I believe it’s important to make sure both the patient and family understand the condition that brought them to the hospital. I work hard to communicate with the child and family in ways that are easy to understand. I treat each patient and family with dignity and respect.
I was inspired to become a nurse after high school. I followed in the footsteps of my mom and my sister to become an advanced practice provider.
I’m honored to be a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the nursing honor society.
In my free time I enjoy watching my children participate in various sports and watching my husband coach them. We enjoy boating and attending sporting events together.
