About

Biography

I’m an attending physician specializing in pediatric emergency medicine, with a particular interest in the stabilization of critically ill and injured children. I am also interested in clinical informatics and leveraging data and technology to improve the care of all children.

I enjoy working with my colleagues across the institution to care for the most seriously ill and injured children. I also like working with our close-knit team in the emergency department. Every meeting with a patient and family is an opportunity for me to learn and to help them understand what's happening during very challenging moments.

My research aims to improve the team response to cardiac arrest and determine the best ways to teach clinicians how to care for children suffering from cardiac arrest. I also work with our information services team to provide clinical data services to other researchers, collaborating to develop strategies around clinical data accessibility and literacy.
