As a pediatrician, I work in the Division of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. Families that come in to see me are usually worried and scared because their child is injured or sick. I listen to their concerns and do my best to reassure and partner with them in treating their child.
In high school and college, I found myself drawn to the sciences and figuring out how the human body works. This interest, along with my desire to help people, made medicine a good fit for me. Emergency and urgent care medicine are challenging because of the wide variety of cases I encounter.
I was drawn to children because they are fun and so resilient. I care about the children I treat and will do everything I can to help them feel better.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
