Melissa Gilbert, DPT

I'm a physical therapist (PT) and the education and training coordinator in the Division of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. I work in all areas of the hospital. My mother inspired me to become a physical therapist and work at Cincinnati Children's. She worked as a nurse at Cincinnati Children's for 35 years!

Physical therapy is used to minimize the effect of disease, injuries or developmental disabilities on a child's ability to perform activities of daily living. My goal is to assist every child, adolescent and young adult to reach their full potential.
