I take a collaborative approach to patient care that values family involvement and perspectives. I believe that each individual feels the impact of multiple systems around them, such as their family, their school, their community and more. I find it very gratifying to help a family better understand their child’s difficulties through a diagnostic evaluation, which can help them move forward.

About

Biography

As a pediatric psychologist, I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). My practice also includes parent training, behavioral intervention and social skills intervention.

I became interested in the field of developmental disabilities as an undergraduate student, and throughout my training my passion for this area grew. I ultimately pursued neurodevelopmental disabilities as my area of specialization.

As a certified provider of parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), I can effectively help families improve parent-child relationships while managing disruptive behaviors such as tantrums, aggression and noncompliance. While therapeutic change can take time and hard work, with consistency it is possible. It’s also very rewarding, and I highly value working with families in supporting behavioral changes in their children.

In my spare time, I enjoy eating spicy food, walking my dog, going to spinning classes at a local studio and spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling to new places.
