I’m a family nurse practitioner working in the Diabetes Center at Cincinnati Children’s.
There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healthcare. Every patient has their own unique set of circumstances to consider when designing treatment. I work with patients and their families to determine what treatment will fit their lifestyles while delivering the best outcomes.
Initially, I worked as a nurse practitioner in family care. I realized that I enjoyed working with my pediatric patients the most during that time. My job now allows me to work closely with both my patients and their families, which is extremely fulfilling.
My son was a patient at Cincinnati Children’s. I will never forget how amazing each person was during that time. I knew then and there that I wanted to be a part of this outstanding community.
Outside my practice, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and son. We like boating and kayaking. I also like traveling and love going places I’ve never been before—and, of course, trying new foods!
