Kelly A. Hayda, MSN, APRN-CNP

I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric neurology, with more than 20 years of clinical experience at Cincinnati Children’s. I care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and have extensive experience managing a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions.

My primary clinical focus is the Headache Center, where I diagnose and treat pediatric migraines and other headache disorders. I am deeply committed to improving quality of life for children and adolescents with chronic headaches and work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized evidence‑based care plans.

In addition to my clinical work, I have contributed to scholarly research in pediatric neurology. I co‑authored the article “Indomethacin‑responsive idiopathic red ear syndrome: A pediatric case,” published in Headache in 2022, which reflects my interest in rare pediatric headache disorders.

I am known for my compassionate family‑centered approach and place a strong emphasis on patient and caregiver education. My goal is to ensure families feel informed supported and empowered throughout their child’s care while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive coordinated treatment.

Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, baking, photography, traveling and spending time outdoors boating with family and friends.
