I'm a physical therapist (PT) specializing in treating children with disorders of early childhood development, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and those needing vestibular rehabilitation. My treatment approach combines having fun while promoting lifelong function and encouraging patients to reach their full potential.
In preschool, I was in a class with neurotypical and neurodivergent children. In this class, I volunteered to help teach the class a song using American Sign Language. Learning the song and the signs and teaching it to the rest of the class sparked my desire to help others, especially children with disabilities.
My passion and desire to provide for and encourage other children progressively grew over the years. Therapy was also part of my life from the very beginning. My mom is a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA), and I grew up hearing how passionate she was and how much she enjoyed her job that I had to see for myself. I fell in love with PT, combining my passion for pediatrics with physical therapy.
In my free time, I enjoy anything active (running, volleyball, kickball, pickleball, etc.), spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time with friends.
