Biography
My current project, led by principal investigator Paul Kingma, is titled "MRI Parenchymal Score as a Predictor of Duration on Respiratory support and Long-term Respiratory outcomes in Infants with BPD."

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD); complex chronic lung disease; caring for premature and critically ill newborns throughout their NICU journey.

Interests
Using advanced lung imaging, particularly neonatal lung MRI, to better understand the patterns and severity of BPD; developing tools that can predict an infant’s respiratory course, identify those at risk for prolonged respiratory support, and ultimately guide more individualized treatment.
