Children are wonderful and resilient human beings. Caring for them while they’re sick and watching them return to health is such a pleasure. I feel it’s important to incorporate effective education techniques while practicing medicine to assist other clinicians as they work and learn best practices to care for our pediatric patients at Cincinnati Children’s.
Designing effective education has always been a passion for me. My research aims to find the best content and methods for delivering effective education. The use of simulation training for procedural and team training in promoting safe patient care is another area of interest.
I have been honored to receive teaching awards from residents, and I am board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine.
