Staff Physician II, Neonatology and Pulmonary Biology

Board Certified

"I strive to pay attention to every detail and to involve parents in decision-making."

About Me

As a Neonatologist, I take care of all newborns, from healthy babies in the newborn nursery to very sick babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

I still remember my first rotation in the NICU. I cared for an infant who was very sick and needed a lot of support but was able to go home with minimal to no complications. That is how I became interested in this field. I understand that every decision that I make as physician will change babies’ lives for life and that is what motivates me every day.

In my practice, I strive to pay attention to every detail and to involve parents in decision-making.

I was honored to receive the following awards:

  • Pediatric Resident Teacher of the Year, 2008
  • Cincinnati Magazine Top Doctor Award, 2021
