One of my favorite college professors sparked my interest in pursuing nursing as a career, and so did my grandma, an Army nurse during World War II. I have always enjoyed working with children, and after years of babysitting, lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons, I wanted to continue to help children as my lifelong career.
As a nurse practitioner in the Transitional Care Center, Division of Pulmonary Medicine, I care for medically complex and fragile patients. I take a holistic approach to caring for my patients, paying attention to every little detail while working in an efficient, family-centered manner. I work at the Cincinnati Children’s Main Campus and occasionally at the Liberty Campus.
When I'm not working, I love to stay active by running miles throughout Cincinnati, participating in races and attending fitness classes. I also enjoy cooking, working on house projects, spending time with my family and friends, and attending country music concerts. I'm a huge country music fan, and I have met Luke Bryan twice!
