About

Biography

My clinical specialty is hospital medicine. As a pediatric hospitalist, I provide care for children while they are admitted to the hospital. As a researcher, I seek to improve healthcare value by providing care that is equitable for all patients.

Growing up with limited resources, my experiences motivated me to join a profession that allowed me to work with vulnerable populations and make a positive impact on other’s lives, beginning with their childhood.

I want to ensure that patients and their families understand their medical care and are part of the treatment conversation. I find it essential to learn about the concerns, hopes and beliefs of my patients and their families in order to provide the best care that aligns with everyone's goals.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors and discovering new places to explore — I’m hoping to one day see all of the national parks. I also love cooking and experimenting with new flavors and cuisines.
