As an academic pediatric hematopathologist, I am dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and understanding of pediatric blood disorders through both clinical practice and research. My work focuses on the pathologic evaluation of hematologic malignancies and bone marrow disorders, with research interests in improving diagnostic accuracy through microscopy, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and genomic technologies. I am particularly interested in translating emerging discoveries into clinically meaningful tools that enable more precise diagnoses, guide targeted therapies and improve outcomes for children with hematologic diseases.
As both a physician and a parent, I recognize the profound impact that a diagnosis has on families, and I strive to approach every case with precision, compassion and an appreciation for the trust families place in their child's care.
