As a nurse practitioner in the Division of Neonatology, I approach my patient care from a holistic and individualized mindset. I see each of my patients as unique individuals who require personalized care. I also keep my focus on what is best for each patient in the long term and what will help them achieve their best quality of life.
I’ve always known I wanted to work in the medical field. I grew up with a younger sibling who has a genetic condition that required frequent medical interventions and hospitalizations. During high school, I volunteered at Cincinnati Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and knew that neonatology was where I wanted to be. I am passionate about the care I provide to my tiny, sick infant patients.
I have a special interest in neurodevelopmental care and parent discharge readiness and education.
In my free time, I like to crochet and play fetch with my Aussie-doodle.
