As a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care for children, adolescents and young adults with hematologic conditions. I believe in empowering patients and families through education and shared decision-making, while addressing not only medical needs but also the emotional and social challenges that can accompany chronic illness.
My journey at Cincinnati Children's began in 2008 as a registered nurse on the inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit. Inspired by the children and families I cared for, I pursued an advanced nursing degree and became a certified family nurse practitioner in 2016. After spending six years caring for adults in pain management, I felt called to return to pediatrics, where my passion for serving patients and families first began.
I am committed to treating every patient with respect and dignity and to making a meaningful difference during some of the most challenging moments in a family's life.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
