As a pediatric hospitalist, I specialize in the care of hospitalized children. I emphasize family-centered care to empower my patients and their families to understand their diagnosis and treatment. I strive to help them feel comfortable and ensure that their voices are heard to provide the best possible hospital experience.
Being a pediatrician is an incredible privilege. I admire children's resilience, strength and zest for life, and I love working with them every day. I also enjoy the challenge of problem-solving, thinking critically and identifying ways to improve the care we provide.
In my clinical practice and research, I’m passionate about medical education, professional identity development and providing high-value, high-quality care. I am interested in identifying resource overutilization in the inpatient setting and exploring de-implementation strategies to enhance high-value care practices.
When I’m not at the hospital, I enjoy traveling, hiking, running, cooking, cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals and spending time outdoors with my husband, son and German Shepherd.
