I am a pediatric psychologist who specializes in working with families of children with complex medical needs, particularly in early childhood. I am passionate about giving families a strong start by offering compassionate support in the earliest stages of their journey and continuing as a trusted resource over time. I feel fortunate to work with families as they receive new diagnoses and throughout their treatment journeys, offering an understanding, collaborative and empathic approach using the most recent evidence in treatments to support family needs.
My dedication to this field stems from my deep appreciation for the resilience of families and the joy of helping children grow into their best selves. Having worked extensively with families navigating healthcare, helping them process complex emotions including grief and loss related to medical diagnoses and medical trauma, I understand the intricacies involved. I also recognize the unique challenges that pregnancy and postpartum can bring when coupled with additional medical stressors.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, sewing, writing and baking.
