As a clinical counselor in behavioral medicine and clinical psychology at Cincinnati Children’s, I’m passionate about supporting children and families through life’s challenges. My focus is on integrated behavioral health, which means I work alongside families and primary care teams to make behavioral health support a seamless part of your child’s overall healthcare. I believe behavioral healthcare works best when families feel comfortable, heard and respected. My goal is to create a relaxed, nonjudgmental environment and meet children and families where they are.
My approach is collaborative and practical. I work with families to better understand the challenges they are facing, build useful skills, and identify resources and strategies that can help in everyday life. Every child and family is different, so I believe care should be individualized to their needs, strengths and goals.
Raising my own children in a rural community, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to access behavioral health services. That experience inspired me to enter this field and help make behavioral health support more accessible and easier for families to navigate. I'm committed to helping families find the support they need when they need it.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My kids are grown and starting families of their own, so there’s always something new and exciting happening in our lives.
