I am a Nurse Practitioner on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. A love for science, paired with a desire to help others, has led me to my calling as an advanced practice registered nurse. I was drawn toward pediatrics as a student nurse by experiencing the resilience and joy that children bring to healthcare, and I began my career with Cincinnati Children’s in 2011.

My personal philosophy is that healthcare is a team sport. If even one team member is not on board with the game plan from the beginning, then the chances of success plummet. This is why I value honest and open communication, thorough patient and family education and making my patients partners in their care.

Working on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit has been a challenging but rewarding experience. Our understanding of epilepsy is constantly evolving, and new medications and technologies are rapidly developing to give us more treatment options for a seizure-free future.

Our patients come to us with intractable epilepsy that impacts every facet of their lives. Through careful evaluation and treatment, we give them hope for a future where they are free to learn, grow and play without seizures. Cincinnati Children's is always at the forefront of epilepsy research and development, and the future is bright for our patients with epilepsy! I am proud to be a part of this team and to do my part to improve the lives of our patients.

When I’m not hard at work, I love to travel and have outdoor adventures. My two adorable German Short-Haired Pointer puppies and girlfriend Ramey make great travel buddies!
