I am an advanced practice registered nurse in the Division of Neonatology. I have always enjoyed working with newborns. Making an impact at the beginning of life is very rewarding. It is a pleasure to advocate for the patients and their families. I am blessed to be able to make important decisions influencing patient care and outcomes.

As a mother of two, I can empathize with families and put myself in the parents’/caregivers’ proverbial shoes. I truly believe that sometimes the best medicine is a mother's or father's touch.

I wholeheartedly care about the patients and their families. As one of my favorite poets, Maya Angelou, stated, "If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded."

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Additionally, I love saving money, and as a previous “extreme couponer,” I’m always on the hunt for a deal.
