About

Biography

I’m a pediatric optometrist and I specialize in caring for children with amblyopia, strabismus, myopia and binocular vision dysfunction. My goal is to make sure every child has the best vision possible, so they have every opportunity to succeed in school and grow into capable, independent adults. I truly believe that coming to the doctor’s office should be something kids look forward to, not something they fear or dread. Building relationships with my patients and their families is at the heart of my practice, and I value open communication so we can work together as a team to achieve the best outcomes.

My passion for pediatric eye care began during my undergraduate years, when I volunteered at a school-based health clinic. I saw firsthand how a health or vision issue, if left unaddressed, can affect a child’s school performance, self-esteem and motivation. I realized that appropriate eyecare in childhood can have a profound impact on the rest of a child’s life. I’ve always loved working with children and knew that investing my time and talents in their futures is one of the most worthy investments I could make.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our dog, reading, and staying fit. I’m a big fan of trying new locally-owned restaurants. As a Cincinnati native, I enjoy getting out and exploring everything our city has to offer.
