As a staff pediatrician, my clinical specialties are newborn medicine and general pediatrics.
I’ve always adored my aunt, who is a pediatrician. I remember joining her on weekend nursery rounds at the hospital and being fascinated by her anatomy books. As time passed, my love for science, medicine and children grew, and I knew I wanted to become a pediatrician.
I firmly believe that the child's family or caretaker(s) and the child are some of the most important care team members. I care deeply about what they have to say. I'm humble enough to admit that I could not possibly know everything there is to know in medicine. I prefer to partner with my colleagues, patients and their families to find the answers.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my most incredible educators in pediatric medicine — my three children. We like cooking good food, hiking and playing outside.
