I’m an occupational therapist (OT) specializing in helping high-risk infants (neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) graduates), infants with neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome, and infants needing assistance with feeding/oral-motor development. I started working at Cincinnati Children’s in 2013 and previously worked in early intervention. I love working with infants and toddlers and have been a part of our interdisciplinary NICU Follow Up Clinic since 2015. I am also a member of our High-Risk Infant TRACK Team, which focuses on identifying and implementing evidence-based practices for infants at high risk for developmental concerns.
I am certified to perform assessments, including the General Movements Assessment (GMA) and Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE), which aid in identifying infants at high risk of cerebral palsy. I also perform the Bayley Scales of Infant Development (Bayley-4) for research and clinical purposes.
I aim to treat every patient and their family with the dignity and respect they deserve. Families are the experts on their children, and we are here to support their goals, collaboratively working towards them.
My husband and I have three daughters. I love spending time with my family when I’m not working. We like playing outside, taking walks, riding bikes and having dance parties in our kitchen.
