I practice hospital medicine, which means I only see hospitalized patients. I’m involved in general hospital medicine and on the surgical co-management service, primarily helping Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery manage medical issues in their patients.
I love working with families and caring for their children. Hospitalization is one of the most stressful things that can happen to someone, and I love being able to reassure parents and families that their children are going to be all right.
My approach to care is family-centered. Parents are the experts on their children, and I am an expert on medical conditions. Together, we can create the best treatment plan for their child. I love how resilient children are — they play even when they are sick. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a child come in ill and go home a few days later feeling better. I will always give my all to make sure children are getting the best possible care!
Outside the hospital, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and daughter, cooking and walking our dogs.
