Jim Saporito serves as Cincinnati Children’s senior vice president of development. He oversees a comprehensive development program, a staff of 54 and works with a 38 member Foundation Board.
Mr. Saporito has been with Cincinnati Children’s since April, 2011. Previously, he served as the Cleveland Clinic’s interim chairman of Institutional Relations and Development, where he helped lead the successful “Today’s Innovations, Tomorrow’s Healthcare” campaign, which raised more than $1.25 billion, substantially exceeding the goal. During his seven-year tenure at the Cleveland Clinic, he also oversaw comprehensive fundraising strategies and activities for 26 institutes and expanded international philanthropy by launching the Cleveland Clinic International Leadership Board, a 21-member organization representing 10 countries.
Mr. Saporito’s career in development also includes time with the The Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations at Case Western Reserve University, The Alzheimer’s Association (Cleveland Area Chapter) and the Hawken School in Cleveland, OH.
