I am a clinical fellow in emergency medicine. Throughout my medical training, I have been drawn to high-acuity care, where providers meet patients and families in the critical moments of their lives. During these times, compassionate care and clear communication are essential. This is especially true in the Pediatric Emergency Department, where minute-to-minute clinical decisions, emotional intelligence, and systems-level thinking converge to address patients’ needs in real time. As I pursue a career in pediatric emergency medicine, my aim is to provide excellent clinical care while improving these difficult experiences in my patients’ lives.
My goal is to combine clinical experience with innovation in quality improvement and advocacy for vulnerable pediatric populations. I am grateful to work within an institution that supports these goals and with colleagues who encourage a culture of excellence.
Outside of work, you’ll find me in my garden, reading, or traveling with my husband.
