About

Biography

I am an occupational therapist (OT) interested in pediatric rheumatology and joint hypermobility. I am also a clinical manager of the outpatient staff at the Burnet Campus medical office building (MOB) and work on patient access and program development for the Division of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.

Pediatric OT uniquely focuses on helping kids live their best lives. I focus on what’s most important to the child and family and set short and long-term goals to improve function. Having the family and child assist with goal setting and developing a plan to achieve those goals is critical to success. The curiosity, desire to engage and joyfulness hardwired into kids make this job fun and rewarding.

I appreciate each family for choosing to receive care at Cincinnati Children's. We do not take this lightly in our division, and we work hard to deliver best-of-class care. I sincerely appreciate getting to know each family, and I leave each session learning something new that improves my practice and commitment to families.

OTD: Rocky Mountain University, Provo, UT, 2009.

MOT: Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, OH, 1997.

BS: Exercise Science, University of Dayton, Dayton, OH, 1992.
