I am passionate about helping children discover and express their unique talents and abilities. Growing up with parents who were both providers for individuals with special needs, I learned early on that every child is different and has unique talents, abilities, and difficulties. This inspired me to pursue a career in occupational therapy, where I could support children in overcoming obstacles and help them shine in their own way.
My focus is on developmental and sensory-based occupational therapy. I believe all children should be provided with the tools they need to succeed in all their desired occupations. Often, I find that behavior is a form of communication, and it’s important to listen and understand what children are trying to tell us. By working together, we can help your child find positive ways to engage and learn how to “fill their cup,” so they can show their true talents.
I am committed to partnering with families to create supportive, individualized care plans that empower children to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. My goal is to make challenges feel less overwhelming and to celebrate every step of progress along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing volleyball, knitting and crocheting, doing puzzles, and visiting local ice cream parlors. I also love to scuba dive whenever I get the chance!
