Michelle Zimmer, MD

I am a developmental and behavioral pediatrician and associate professor in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I care for children with a wide range of neurodevelopmental differences, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and spina bifida.

My interests include increasing access to developmental evaluation in underserved populations, the intersection between primary care pediatrics and developmental behavioral pediatrics and partnering with families to support children with complex developmental needs. I am especially passionate about improving access to care through testing models of care that enhance developmental pediatrician ability to administer developmental testing and make accurate diagnoses.

Outside of work, I enjoy the Cincinnati Sports scene, especially FC Cincinnati games, spending time with my husband, two grown daughters, friends, family and walking my dog.
