Test Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or revision of test orders must be made within 24 hours from the time the specimen is received by our laboratory.
Orders for all tests scheduled for expedited processing − including all genetic pharmacology tests, STAT tests and prenatal tests − cannot be canceled or revised.
How to Cancel or Revise a Test Order
Call the Genetic and Genomic Diagnostic Laboratory to request a test cancellation or revision.
A DNA extraction fee or cell culture set-up fee may be applied for specimen processing even if the test is cancelled.
After 24 hours from specimen receipt, requests for test cancellation or revision will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please call the laboratory to determine the status of your patient’s specimen.
