Our Research
A diagnosis of cancer or a serious blood disorder is among the most daunting moments a family can face. Despite remarkable progress, many questions remain about why these diseases occur and how to treat them more effectively, with fewer side effects and with better long-term outcomes. That’s why we established the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children’s: to accelerate discovery, deepen understanding and deliver the next generation of therapies to children who need them most.
We bring together world-class scientists, clinicians and innovators to take on some of the most complex challenges in pediatric cancer, hematology and immune disorders. Guided by a bold vision to be the global leader in care, research and education, our teams are advancing groundbreaking basic science, translating discoveries into clinical solutions and setting new standards for patient-centered care. We are defining new models of excellence, ensuring children have access to the most advanced, effective and compassionate treatments available.
