Changing the Outcome for Children and Adults With Congenital Heart Disease
The Heart Institute is committed to providing the highest quality care for patients with pediatric and adult congenital heart disease. Through strong collaborations, we deliver excellent outcomes for patients and families, no matter where they live. One of these valued collaborations is with Golisano Children’s at the University of Kentucky, where we have come together to create the Joint Pediatric and Congenital Heart Program—recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s leading pediatric heart programs since the rankings began.
Through this collaboration, our world-class surgeons work closely with specialists at Golisano Children’s at UK to deliver comprehensive care from before birth through adulthood. Our heart surgery survival rates rank among the best, even for the most complex cases, and our patients often experience shorter hospital stays—helping families return to daily life sooner.
We also collaborate with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indiana, Akron Children’s in northeast Ohio and Mary Bridge Children’s in Washington. These collaborations help ensure families in those regions can access superior heart care closer to home.
With more than 25 locations across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and collaborations with these other leading hospitals, we bring top-ranked heart care closer to home. Together we can change the outcome.
