The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an educational program designed for healthcare professionals who provide care to newborns at birth. NRP applies an evidence-based method to teaching Healthcare providers the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitative care.
The instructor-led course is the required 2nd part of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, co-sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. During this course, health care providers will participate in the hands-on skills portion of the program that includes a neonatal simulation and debriefing session. This course is intended for non-Cincinnati Children's providers.
This course does not include the online portion of the program which is to be completed prior to attendance.
Course Pre-Requisite: Complete the online exam and course survey though the NRP Learning Platform within 90 days of this instructor-led course. You must bring your certification verifying you completed the online curriculum in order to participate (generated after completing the survey).
