In 2009, Gerald B. Lee, MD, joined the Khurana Hershey Lab as an eager and enthusiastic clinical fellow committed to improving the health of children with asthma and allergies. During his time in the lab Dr. Lee investigated diesel oxidation and S-glutathionylation in house dust mite induced murine asthma. When Dr. Lee departed from the lab, his passion and leadership for improving the health of children continued through his success in the Allergy and Immunology Division at the University of Louisville. In 2014, Dr. Lee was chosen as chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology and was featured on a segment of the Today Show.
