Basic Diabetes Educational Training for Caregivers
The Basic Diabetes Educational Training for Extended Family and Caregivers provides supplemental education for extended family members and other caregivers who help support a child with Type 1 diabetes. This class focuses on practical skills for day to day diabetes care.
Parents and guardians are required to complete the full diabetes education provided by Diabetes Center educators. This program does not replace that required education, it helps ensure all caregivers feel informed and prepared.
